The Standing Working Group for Regional Rural Development (SWG) in SEE within the EU funded project: ”Regional cooperation and networking in the field of agriculture, rural and economic development of cross-border areas” organized workshop “Development of the value chains in tourism and agro-business sector“  for the Stakeholders’ Group for the Cross – border region “Krsh”, 26-28 April 2018, Hotel Palma, Tivat, Montenegro

The Capacity building event “Development of the value chains in tourism and agro-business sector“  for the Stakeholders’ Group for the Cross – border region “Krsh” was attended by 9 participants and also trainers, SWG staff, agro and toruism experts.
During the three days training trainers helped the participants to improve their knowledge from the following topics:
-Mr. Ivica Sivric stated the importance of mapping and analysis of agricultural and tourist resources. He also pointed out the role and importance of the all stakeholders in the development of the  Agrotouristic potentials of the cross-border region ,,Krsh”
-Mr. Ratko Batakovic showed the importance of the value chain analysis in agrotourism and the skills for its improvement through an example from the region. He talked about the skills for adjusting the value chain and the role of the marketing activities in the process of branding the agro-tourism destination
-Mr. Ilija Moric prepared tour on his household in village Tici, Lustica, for the participants and through his own example of the good practice discussed with participants about managements skills of an agro-tourism household, so as about skills that creatr added value to agricultural products through the provision of services in tourism.
