Regional conference “Friends of Shar” was organized by Center for Education and Development “CED” from Tearce in partnership with NGO’Finch” from Prizren.

The objective of the conference was to develop and implement a campaign for proclamation of Nacional Park “Sharra” in the Sharra mountain within the territory of FYR of Macedonia.

The conference produce the following outputs:

• Strategy for future lobbying and campaigns for Macional Park in FYR of Macedonia
• Established successful cooperation among National Park Sharri and organizations from FYR of Macedonia supporters of the platform “Friends of Sharr”
• Exchanged the experience and presentations on benefits for local population and environment by proclamation of Nacional Park
• Through the discussion and presentation were presented and promoted a natural values of Sharr Mountain

This activity is supported by the European Union funded project”Fostering regional cooperation and balanced territorial development of Western Balkan countries in the process towards EU integration” implemented by the SWG.
