The Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG) in South-Eastern Europe within the European Union funded project: “Regional cooperation and networking in the field of agriculture, rural and economic development of cross-border area” will support the organization of the regional manifestation III. Circle of friendship – International cycling marathon through Drina-Sava & Drina-Tara region”, which will be organized in the period of 23-26^th August by Cycling club “Sveti Nikolaj” from Brcko.

The aim of this Event is promotion of cycle tourism and encouraging the economic development of the region and its rural population by promoting natural, cultural and traditional values of our region, as well as the tourism potential of the cross-border regions “Drina-Sava” and “Drina-Tara”.
The specific objective of this Event is promote cycling as an alternative way of transportation and recreation, as well as connecting and achieving present and future cooperation with local communities, NGOs, cultural and artistic societies and sport clubs.

This Event will contribute to economic development of the cross-border regions because the participants will be using accommodation and local products in rural areas.
