On the 23 November, 2016 the NGO Alb-Aid organized the regional event Kukes Handcraft Fair, where women artisans had the opportunity to promote their work and products for tourist purposes. In cooperation with the Municipality of Kukes, women artisans of Kukes were invited to exhibit their handcrafts at the Fair, which was organized at the Ethnographic Museum of Kukes.
Over 300 visitors from Kukes, as well as from Kosovo* have visited this one-day Fair. The Fair served as a great opportunity for exchanging contacts among the entrepreneurs, as well as the visitors.
This activity is part of the European Union funded project: “Fostering regional cooperation and balanced territorial development of Western Balkan countries in the process towards EU integration” implemented by the Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG) in South-Eastern Europe.
