SWG awarded with the recognition for International contribution

The Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG) in South-Eastern Europe, within the SWG European Union project: “Fostering regional cooperation and balanced territorial development of Western Balkan countries in the process towards EU integration”, supported the participation of the stakeholder group members from the cross-border regions “Drina-Sava” and “Drina-Tara” at the XV International Trade Fair “Brcko 2016”.

The main goal of this joint presentation of the stakeholders from the two cross-border regions at the XV International Trade Fair “Brcko 2016” was to promote the cross-border cooperation, as well as promotion of the stakeholders, their products, services, resources and tradition. SWG provided opportunity for 24 organizations to participate at this international fair with all expenses covered.

Among the individual agriculture producers there were several organizations of producers, regional and local development agencies and few municipal tourist organizations.

The fair also served as a partner search platform, since the possible cooperation on future IPA CBC calls was discussed between the municipalities which participated.
