The regional event “Mapping touristic destinations in Zupa”, will be organized by the NGO Agro Red Gold from Recane, Kosovo* and will be held in the period 11-12 March, 2017 in Zupa, Kosovo*. The main goal of this event is to promote the area of Zupa as a touristic destination. This regional event will contribute to an increased number of tourists in the region, sustainable development of tourism and development of a plan and a strategy for long-term tourism in the area of Zupa, based on heritage and natural resources.
The main activity of the event will be the mapping of the ten most attractive tourist destinations in the area of Zupa, which is the topic of the Panel Conference, where the panelists will be experts of tourism, at local and regional level. All attractive locations, their benefits and possibilities for expanded development will be presented at the event. Touristic facilities and specific infrastructure for the development of tourism, organization of activities, supplying information, entertainment, sports and recreational facilities will also be presented.
This activity is part of the European Union funded project: “Fostering regional cooperation and balanced territorial development of Western Balkan countries in the process towards EU integration” implemented by the Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG) in South-Eastern Europe.
