The Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG) in South-Eastern Europe within the project: “Rural development through integrated forest and water resources management in Southeast Europe: Rural perspectives: qualification, reintegration and (self) employment” supported the organization of the Event “Ëthno Festival” which will was organized by NGO “Beli andjeo” and held on 26.05.2018 in Bijeljina, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Ten NGOs from Bosnia and Herzegovina participated at the Festival which was organized with the aim to promot tradition and customs of Semberija and the cross-border region “Drina-Sava “through presentation and exhibition of traditional handicrafts and participation of folklore dances. Special jury was formed which scored the handicrafts and specialities of the participants.
The specific objective of this Event was straitening cooperation between participants and preservation of tradition of the region.
This Event contribute to providing opportunity for self-employment to participants at the workshop how learned how to make handicrafts and promote them on fairs.
