The fourth stakeholder group meetings of the cross-border regions of “Prokletije”, “Neretva” and “Pcinja” aimed at finalization of the strategic planning process.
The members of the stakeholder groups discussed and reviewed the defined action plans. In addition, already defined project proposals were appraised and additional ones were developed. The baseline analysis and strategic framework provide basis for programming of economic development through regional cooperation in the cross-border regions.
Proposed design of a logo, as unique sign for identification of each cross-border region were discussed and future directions for their finalization were provided by the stakeholders.
The activities in the cross-border areas will continue with people-to-people actions to be implemented in the forthcoming months.
The activity is implemented within the European Union funded project: ”Fostering regional cooperation and balanced territorial development of Western Balkan countries in the process towards EU integration – Support to the Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG) in South-East Europe”.
