Workshop “Capacity building on integrated economic development in rural cross-border areas – from visioning to realization” 15-17 March, 2017 in Rankovce, FYR of Macedonia

The Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), following the overall goals of the EU funded project “Fostering regional cooperation and balanced territorial development of Western Balkan countries in the process towards EU integration – Support to the Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG) in South-East Europe”, as well as FAO TCP Facility: “Implementation of short value chain development in cross-border areas in the Western Balkan region”, organized a 3-day workshop on “Capacity building on integrated economic development in rural cross-border areas – from visioning to realization”. The workshop for the representatives from the cross-border region of “Pcinja-Krajishte” took place in the period 15-17 March, 2017 at the Complex Ranc in Rankovce.

The workshop was an opportunity for exchange of experiences, as well as development of ideas for possible joint actions for sustainable integrated economic development and projects in the cross-border region of “Pcinja-Krajishte”.
