ABD Grant Scheme – open call for proposals

The Standing Working Group for Regional Rural Development (SWG) in South Eastern Europe in partnership with The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) within the project “Diversification of economic activities in rural areas of Southeast Europe through value chain development” is opening the call for proposals within ABD Grant Scheme, as a part of the project: ”Support to economic diversification of rural areas in Southeast Europe (SEDRA)”.in the cross-border regions: Drina-Tara, Drina-Sava, and Krsh.

The general objective of the ABD Grant scheme within the SEDRA project is to contribute to the diversification of economic activities in rural areas of SEE, through strengthening of the selected value chains in the specific cross-border regions. The grant scheme aims to develop sustainable business models in structurally weak border regions through improvement of the production, processing and marketing of traditional products (which includes agricultural and food products of animal and plant origin, e.g. cereals, vegetables, fruit, meat and meat products, eggs, milk and dairy products, medicinal and herbal plants, etc.), non-wood forest products, culinary traditions and rural tourism.

The grant will be available for private, civil and public entities from following countries and municipalities of the Cross-Border regions:

Cross-Border region of “Drina-Tara” (countries and municipalities):

Serbia: Ljubovija, Bajina Basta, Prijepolje, Priboj, Cajetina and Uzice;

Montenegro: Bijelo Polje and Pljevlja;

Bosnia and Herzegovina: Visegrad, Rudo, Gorazde, Srebrenica, Bratunac and Milici;

Cross-Border region of “Drina-Sava” (countries and municipalities):

Bosnia and Herzegovina: Bijeljina, Ugljevik, Lopare, Brcko District and Donji Zabari;

Serbia: Sremska Mitrovica, Sid, Bogatic, Loznica and Sabac;

Cross-Border region of “Krsh” (countries and municipalities):

Montenegro: Herceg Novi, Tivat, Kotor and Niksic

Bosnia and Herzegovina: Ljubuski, Citluk, Stolac, Capljina, Ravno, Neum, Berkovici, Bileca, Gacko, Ljubinje, Nevesinje, Trebinje.

The deadline for the submission of Concept Notes is 19.08.2019, at 16:00h.
