The 4th working meeting of the Regional Expert Advisory Working Group (REAWG) on Wine in South Eastern Europe will be held in the period 22nd – 24th February, 2017 in Belgrade, Serbia. The aim of the meeting is to explore the possibilities for future regional cooperation in SEE on the topic of wine and viticulture, in respect to the EU integration of the wine sector and market.
The meeting is intended for the members of the Expert Advisory Group in order to strengthen the cooperation on national and regional level and enhance the networking and cooperation among the institutions responsible for wine and viticulture resources. In the same time there will be a meeting of the associations of wine growers, wine producers and development organizations, with the aim to create a Balkan Network of Wine Associations. The Regional Expert Advisory Working group will have the joint meeting with the representatives from the Wine Associations from the Western Balkan Region with the aim to discuss the possible future regional cooperation in SEE, in respect to the EU integration of the wine sector.
The event is organized by the SWG, supported by the European Union funded project “Fostering regional cooperation and balanced territorial development of Western Balkan countries in the process towards EU integration”.’
