The Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG) in South-Eastern Europe within the European Union funded project: “Fostering regional cooperation and balanced territorial development of Western Balkan countries in the process towards EU integration” will support the organization of the regional event “Networking of “LAGs” in the cross-border region “Drina-Sava”. This regional event will be organized by the Local action group Bosutski niz and will be held in the period from 28 February till 31 March in Nijemci (Croatia) and Sremska Mitrovica (Serbia). The first joint workshop will be held in Sremska Mitrovica on the 6 March 2017.

The aim of this regional event is organization of two People to People workshops in Nijemci and Sremska Mitrovica, where participants will discuss the current situation in the field of Local Action Groups (LAGs) in Croatia and Serbia. This regional event will contribute to the strengthening of the networking and cooperation among members of the stakeholder group from Croatia and Serbia, as well as to defining joint project proposals.
