The objective of this series of regional conferences and workshops” Youth activism in the sustainable management and biodiversity conservation in ABDA Region of Drina – Sava” is transfer of knowledge and examples of good practices between the stakeholders. The main goal is to create an opportunity for achievement of greater and wider cooperation in the sectors of tourism, agriculture and sustainable management and biodiversity conservation. This series of regional conferences and workshops will contribute to the strengthening of the networking and regional cooperation among members of the stakeholder group from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia, and to define joint actions and measures for protecting biodiversity, as well as to develop activities related to definition of project proposals for joint application on other cross-border calls.

As a result, a concept paper for touristic package entitled “Eco Tour” will be developed by the participants of the conferences, which will serve as a basis for development of a project proposal.

This activity is part of the European Union funded project: “Fostering regional cooperation and balanced territorial development of Western Balkan countries in the process towards EU integration” implemented by the Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG) in South-Eastern Europe.
